JBSourcery V2.3.6 LTE BETA
Re: JBSourcery V2.3.5 LTE BETA
I think it is due to a Gapps issue. I did finally get it sorted out because I also noticed half my apps were gone, including Market, ROM Manager, a few others. I downloaded Gapps again and installed it, then fixed permissions for the hell of it. Afterwards the signal icon returned to blue and all the apps are working, after a couple reinstalls.
Guessing maybe just a bad download? Is it best practices to download OTA when updates come up or should I just download from my laptop and move the zip to my phone for install. Keep in mind my home area is only 3G, so maybe OTA is getting corrupted?

yeah thats probably the problem 130 megs on 3 could be a problem but if download is bad md5 should be off. but glad you got it working
Great Job All.

Very nice so far. I did get a couple reboots/black screen of death moments, but I know that is the trinity kernel. My phone does that every time with stock trinity settings. Still trying to tweak the kernel as I always love the speed and colors. Been pretty stable for 12hours since the last unplanned reboot.

If your signal is gray and not blue that is a problem with Gapps, mainly with your account not authenticating properly...I believe.
Has anyone else had FC and reboot issues with Trinity 1536 384 kernel? I tried 1196 384 and 512 and frames and transitions were choppy and programs hung. Got com.pop.android FC and several reboot that also damaged 2 program files and had to uninstall and reinstall. Es file explorer and Roman empire... back to running Franco's milestone5. If there's more info I can provide let me know
Aside from that...y'all rawk. Seriously if it weren't for the x.x.x formula instead of x.x I'd think that this was 2.4 already. Incredibly smooth and efficient all across the board. Thinking bout themin my dialer but I phone is the least I use my nexus for.
My phone has never liked trinity. It runs smooth as silk, but I always seem to get random fc issues and black screens of death, normally on the lock screen. I have had one of each with this beta, but otherwise it runs smooth as silk. Normally in the past it was due to undervolting and increasing voltages a little at a time through trial and error fixed it. I have not done anything this time as I want to see if it settles in. If I get another I will play or switch kernels.

I just checked and it is not undervolted so increasing them won't help. You could try clearing cache and dalvik again. Trinity is one of the best out there, but it doesn't work for everyone.

I've always used Lean and have had great performance and battery life!
